Those magnificent men

We designing education resources for Kenley airfield in Croydon. Paradoxically managed by the City of London. It was used by the Royal Flying Corp (RFC) in WWI but is better known as a WWII Battle of Britain airfield. My grandfather Billy was in the RFC and I wanted to check if he’d been to Kenley but no – that would have been too good to have been true.

Here’s his kite circa 1918. And a rather large souvenir.
